Risk Disclosure
Last updated: October 5, 2026
Please read this before using anything you learn with real money.
1. Trading is high-risk
Cryptocurrency and gold prices are volatile. You can lose some or all of the money you trade. Leverage or borrowed money makes the risk much higher.
Only trade money you can afford to lose.
2. Backtest results are hypothetical
The figures on the System page come from backtests on historical prices. They are not anyone's real trading results.
Hypothetical or simulated performance results have inherent limitations. They are prepared with the benefit of hindsight, involve no real financial risk, cannot reflect the emotional pressure of trading real money, and real costs and fills may be worse than assumed. No representation is made that any account will or is likely to achieve similar results.
Past performance does not indicate or guarantee future results.
3. Lesson examples
Lessons and practice questions use examples selected to show the rules clearly, and most of them are winning trades. In live markets you will lose often: in testing on real price history, breakouts won about 1 in 3 trades and pullbacks a little under half, with long losing streaks at times.
4. Not investment advice
LearnTrader is not licensed by Thailand's Securities and Exchange Commission (or any other regulator) as an investment adviser or digital-asset adviser. Nothing here is personal advice, a trading signal, or a solicitation to invest.
5. Laws where you live
Cryptocurrency trading is regulated differently around the world and restricted or banned in some countries. You are responsible for following the law where you live, using properly licensed platforms, and paying any tax on your gains.
6. Start safely
Practise on a demo account first. When you go live, risk no more than 1% of your capital per trade and keep a journal of every trade.
